Meet Sushila Love.
Sushila Love is a film and television editor working across premium streaming series and feature films. Known for her instinct for rhythm and dramatic precision, she approaches editing as both a technical craft and a storytelling art – shaping performances, refining structure, and elevating narrative tension in the cutting room.

Her recent work includes editing on Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, the Paramount+ espionage drama Special Ops: Lioness, and the Amazon/MGM Studios series Countdown. She has also cut episodes of Mayor of Kingstown, On My Block, and Dynasty, bringing clarity and momentum to projects that span genres from grounded drama to elevated genre storytelling.

In 2022, Sushila was selected as the Sally Menke Memorial Editing Fellow at the Sundance Directors Lab, an honor awarded to editors demonstrating exceptional talent and commitment to the craft. The fellowship reflects her belief in editing as a collaborative, story-first discipline rooted in intention and emotional truth.

She began her career in the editorial departments of acclaimed series including The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and CNN’s The Sixties, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a deep respect for story structure.
Sushila believes editing is where story truly finds its voice. She is passionate about collaboration, mentorship, and shaping work that resonates — whether intimate character moments or large-scale, high-stakes storytelling.
